The aim of the Interreg Aurora funded small-scale project is to develop administrative legal terms by translating similar administrative laws in the Northern Sámi language in Finland and Norway. The project will help ensure the quality of translations of administrative laws and harmonize the legal Sámi language across the borders.

Social, ecological and economic sustainable development is an overarching goal in the Interreg Aurora Programme. All projects funded by Interreg Aurora contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The project Legal Terminology of Administrative Laws in the Northern Sámi in Finland and Norway contributes primarly to the following UN Sustainable Development Goal.
