IMMERSE

The Interreg Aurora funded project IMMERSE aims to transform remote operations with augmented and immersive technologies, targeting the Aurora programme areas specific challenges and skills shortages.

The goal of the project is to improve the access and deployment of specialized expertise in remote areas, with a focus on sustainability and inclusivity. Anticipated outcomes include:

  • Creating proof-of-concept demonstrators to showcase the technology’s ability to improve remote operations.
  • Building academic and professional expertise through partnerships with Swedish and Finnish universities, creating a skilled talent pipeline.
  • Sharing project insights through research publications to enrich the knowledge base in academia and industry.
