DelWaWood

The project’s ambition is to create new sustainable circular value chain opportunities in the Nordics, harnessing both business insights and technical innovation. The objective is to comprehensively assess the challenges and opportunities in recycling waste wood.

In two distinguished feasibility studies, DelWaWood aim to examine the influence of factors like local regulations, market dynamics, technical and technological advancements, and stakeholder engagement, to identify the most promising strategies. The project aim to explore innovative and sustainable solutions for making use of otherwise wasted wood. Specifically, to gain insights into the mechanical properties of such wood and determine its applicability for specific uses in engineered wood products for construction purposes.
