The Interreg Aurora funded project Exploring Cross-Border Collaboration for Sustainable Entrepreneurship aims to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs by investigating and preparing for long-term cross-border cooperation within the cultural and creative sectors across the Interreg Aurora geography. This small-scale project focuses on fostering collaboration between incubators in Sweden (Uminova eXpression and Go Business) and Finland (Design Centre Muova). Through this collaboration, the project will explore sustainable practices, data-driven strategies, and the creation of an inclusive English-speaking platform to support innovation and entrepreneurship.
Project Objectives:
- Investigate Cross-Border Collaboration: Explore opportunities for cross-border and cross-industry collaborations, sharing methodologies and tools to foster innovation.
- Integrate Sustainable Practices: Examine ways to integrate sustainable practices into the entrepreneurial ecosystem, aligning with Aurora’s sustainability goals.
- Utilize Data-Driven Strategies: Assess the potential of data-driven insights to enhance incubation strategies and provide valuable business insights.
- Create an English Platform: Research the development of an English-speaking platform to enhance global outreach and inclusivity in the cultural and creative sectors.
- Engage with Sápmi: Explore opportunities to involve and benefit the Sami community, acknowledging their unique role in the Aurora Programme.
