High school students and teachers from northern Finland and Sweden will meet on the 10-11/5 in Oulu to collaborate around the themes of entrepreneurial culture and sustainable entrepreneurship. This is the first meeting in a new three-year Interreg Aurora project run by City of Oulu, Ung Företagsamhet Norrbotten and ammattiopisto Lappia. During the premiere exchange visit teachers and students will take part in workshops around the project’s core themes of entrepreneurial culture in schools, sustainable entrepreneurship in education, and cross-border collaboration. They will also get to visit several local companies

The Interreg Aurora funded project Issues is organising a webinar about Artificial Intelligence. The interest in Artificial Intelligence, AI, is all-time high today. Organisations are racing to implement solutions, while research indicates that we must know more about them and their consequences. Read more and download Zoom link

Europe in my Region is an annual EU-wide campaign to show citizens the EU-funded projects in the regions they live in. This is achieved through involving citizens to explore EU projects with own eyes. Interreg Aurora projects, how does financing from EU benefit your regions and the citizens? Tillväxtverket in Sweden coordinates a campaign during May 2-12. The campaign involves projects inviting visitors to take part in their work and results in various ways. It can be, for example: – Seminars – Lectures – Guided tours – Exhibitions – Movies

The Interreg Aurora funded project ICH North will be presented at the Folk & Världsmusikgalan in Skellefteå 14th and 15th of April 2023. The project will present the five work packages and the planned activities. In a following workshop, the project will work on the intangible cultural heritage of northern Sweden, Finland and Norway from different perspectives, such as social and musical interaction, methods of knowledge transfer, archival work and more.
