Cross-border knowledge transfer in the waste management sector

In March 2024, the project partners from the Interreg Aurora funded project NOWA organised an extended project meeting involving waste management stakeholders from Norway, Finland, and Sweden. During a 3-day meeting, the project partners and associated partners visited Oulu-based waste management company Kiertokaari Oy, it’s textile collection and sorting site Likke, industrial waste management company Syklo Oy and biogas site Gasum. Fourth call, facts & figures!

The fourth Interreg Aurora Call for regular project applications closed 5 March. Thank you for your submitted project ideas for cross-border cooperation. The applications will now be processed by the Joint Secretariat. The Steering Committees will meet in June 2024 to select new approved Interreg Aurora projects.

Operations of Strategic Importance – higher visibility for how EU funded projects can benefit our daily lives

The Steering Committees of the Interreg Aurora programme have so far decided to appoint five projects as Operations of Strategic Importance (OSI). Planning a Sámi “Arendalsuka” in Kautokeino

Interreg.no has written an article in Norwegian about the Interreg Aurora funded project ReCap ASáp. The project ReCap ASáp – Regaining capacity in a changing Sápmi – plans to host the Sámi Arena in June 2025. The project is led by the Sami Council and the Suoma Sámi Guovdašsearvi. Through the project, they want to strengthen Sami civil society’s capacity to participate in the community discussion, gain increased political involvement and carry out advocacy work. Share access to your project in the Min Ansökan system

A new function has been released in the Min ansökan system that enables an easy way of sharing access within the cooperation of the project. Anyone who has access can now share access to other users directly from the Project Area in Min Ansökan. The one you share access with needs to have an account in Min ansökan. NOTE! The programme still needs to know whom to contact in case of completions requests or other queries. For already approved projects, you need to contact the Aurora team via interregaurora@lansstyrelsen.se to
