The Interreg Aurora Programme has launched dates for Calls for project applications during 2024/2025. Calls for regular project applications will be open twice during 2024 and so far there is decided on one call for spring 2025. Greetings from the Aurora Entrepreneurialis team

Aurora Entrepreneurialis team participated in the Interreg Aurora conference in Oulu on 27-28th of November. After the conference the team continued with the project group meeting and evaluation day, which included also some employee wellbeing activities, bowling. The project team also got to show their brand new team hoodies that will be in best use at the student company Fair in Luleå in February 2024. Strenghtening cross-border co-operation in social and health services in Sámi languages

Partner search: In Finland, responsibility for organising social and health services was transferred from municipalities to wellbeing services counties 1.1.2023. Lapland wellbeing county has a nationwide resposibility to develop social and health services in Sámi languages. Cross-border co-operation is an underutilized way to organize social and health services in Sámi languages. An Interreg project would make it possible to find new ways to organise those services in a way that benefits local Sámi communities in Finland and Norway. The project partners Kemi-Tornionlaakson koulutuskuntayhtymä Lappia, Utbildning NORD and Koulutuskuntayhtymä OSAO have in the Interreg Aurora funded project DeTo – Developing Together gathered a comprehensive report on the cross-border cooperation networks, best practices, development needs and future initiatives for the labour market.
