The project partners in the Interreg Aurora funded project Indigenous Digital Storytelling with New Media are pleased to announce a successful launch of the project with a productive two-day kick-off event in Rovaniemi 20-21 March 2025. The gathering brought together the project partners from Sámi Allaskuvla, Umeå University, and the University of Lapland, with participation both on-site and virtually, fostering a truly collaborative atmosphere.
The event featured a series of insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and strategic planning sessions. Participants shared diverse perspectives and laid the groundwork for future collaboration, setting a strong foundation for the project’s next phases. This event not only highlighted the interdisciplinary strength of our partnership but also reaffirmed our shared commitment to advancing research and fostering meaningful exchange across institutions and communities.
